Are the subtitles burned in or a separate file?
Burned in. The text becomes part of the picture, so it displays everywhere regardless of whether the platform supports caption tracks.
Will they be readable over bright footage?
Captions are drawn with an outline and shadow rather than plain text, which is what keeps them legible over light or busy backgrounds.
How long can the video be?
Longer videos take longer to transcribe and render, but there is no short hard limit. The job runs server-side so you do not have to wait with the tab open.
Can I use it on videos made elsewhere?
Yes. This works on any video you upload, whether or not it was made with MemeReactor.
What it costs
Subtitling is a flat credit cost per video. Credits are prepaid rather than a subscription, and different formats cost different amounts depending on how much narration and rendering they need.
